Tanya Holt – Writer/Composer
Tanya, pictured with her daughter Dotty, is a performer and composer working mainly in the cabaret and musical theatre genres. She also works as an educator creating new music with primary aged children. Her musical double act, ShooShooBaby, have developed a reputation for excellent musicianship and witty new writing and are regularly commissioned to write for corporate and private events. Their shows have been appreciated by audiences in theatres all over the UK and they have appeared at festivals and events internationally. They have worked continuously for 17 years. Tanya is also the founder of the home recording company BelleStars.

Robin is an experienced writer, actor and director. He has adapted several classic novels successfully for the stage including All Quiet On The Western Front and Around The World in 80 Days. He has written extensively for children's and family TV, on shows ranging from pre-school classics like Thomas The Tank Engine to CBBC comedy dramas. As an actor Robin has appeared most recently in Stephen Berkoff's On The Waterfront in the West End and on tour in Japan. Please visit Robin Kingsland.
Birgitta originally trained as a pianist, vocal coach and accompanist at the Royal Academy of Music. Since then, she has retrained in Musical Theatre and Cabaret and has become well-known for her work as a choral coach, presenter and composer-arranger. She is a regular accompanist to many of London's top cabaret performers and is in demand as a choir leader. She founded and directs the national award-winning choir, The Voice Squad.
Classically trained, Jenny is Resident Composer/MD for The Young Shakespeare Company, Songwriter/MD for HMDT Music and Composer/MD for Opera Brava and Full Circle Children’s Theatre Company. A gigging performer, she is one half of cabaret/musical theatre duo Jenson Duo, MD for cabaret duo Shoo Shoo Baby and under the solo artist name ‘Jenni’ has independently released her first EP, ‘Spring,’ online and on CD.
Eleanor started her career at Chetham’s School of Music where she was a first study pianist before going on to study singing at the Royal Northern College of Music. Following 5 years as a BBC Singer, Eleanor now regularly sings with the Monteverdi Choir under Sir John Eliot Gardiner and also plays for auditions, coaches and acts as mentor to several young singers on the Monteverdi Choir apprenticeship scheme. Earlier this year she sang at the Royal Opera House, Covent Garden in their production of Gluck’s Orphée and made her Wigmore Hall debut as a pianist in music by Brahms and Schubert which received excellent critical acclaim in The Times. Recent concert tours have included the St Matthew Passion at the Concertgebouw, Amsterdam, Philharmonie in Paris and the Barbican, London. In a slightly lighter vein, Eleanor has recently formed a cabaret duo called Take Two Cabaret with fellow pianist/singer Terry Saunders.
Suzie Shrubb is a musician working as a performer, director and educator on piano and oboe. She was musical director for Rajni Shah Projects Glorious and has continued to work with Rajni on a number of projects. She can be heard on film soundtracks and albums including Moving in the Dark by Dizraeli and The Small Gods, A Hidden Order by Sama Mara and Lee Westwood and the Small Gods and Ben Hopkins award winning film 37 Uses for a Dead Sheep. Suzie performed earlier this year with Hannah Ringham in her show I Am Free and last year toured with Giffords Circus. She is an Associate Lecturer at the University of Chichester.
Daniel is well known as a jazz pianist and musical director. He has co-written the music to two of the Cautionary Tales and overseen much of the musical development of the piece.
